Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, Oct. 29, 2011

The County is holding another Prescription Drug Take-Back Day at locations around the County on October 29, 2011. This is a chance for you to anonymously get rid of old drugs around the house, reducing the possibility of a child gaining access to inappropriate drugs. Fortunately for us, every day is Drug Take-Back Day, as we have a permanent box at the local Police Station. The box is located at the Carmel Valley Police Station on El Camino Real, just inside the back parking lot fence (it looks like a mailbox). Just reach through the fence and drop your unwanted items into the box. Items dropped off will be incinerated. For information on the County program and other locations, see the DEA Drug Disposal Page.
