Torrey Hills Spring Egg Hunt, March 30

The Torrey Hills Spring Egg Hunt is on Saturday March 30, 2013, 9-12PM, at the Torrey Hills Community Park (4262 Calle Mejillones).  There will be Bounce Houses, Music, Face Paint, Games, and Activities! The Egg Hunt Times are: 0-2yrs at 9:30AM; 3-5yrs at 9:40AM; 6-8yrs at 9:50AM; 9 & up at 10AM. There will also be a Scavenger Hunt for kids ages 10 & UP. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME AND BRING YOUR OWN BASKET. This Free Event is sponsored by the Ocean Air Recreation Council and the Torrey Hills HOA. See the Torrey Hills Egg Hunt Flyer for details.

Ocean Air Park Snow Day and Pancake Breakfast, Dec 1, 2012

Join the community for a Snow Day at The Park! The Ocean Air Recreation Council invites you and your family to our Annual Holiday Morning of Giving. Help support San Diego Toys For Tots & San Diego Food Bank! Saturday, December 1st, 8:30am-10:30am at the Ocean Air Recreation Center. Bring an unwrapped toy or bag of nonperishable food to receive 4 tickets to our Holiday Pancake Breakfast! Enjoy the festivities: 50 foot Snow Sled Run, Kid’s Bounce House, Visit from Santa, Arts & Crafts, Music, Fun & Games, Face Painting!! Free Movie in the Park, Aug 10, 2012

The Ocean Air Recreation Council will be holding its final summer movie in the local park Friday, August 10 showing of “Spy Kids 4” at Sage Canyon Neighborhood Park (5252 Harvest Run Drive). The festivities begin at 6:00 PM, with the movie starting at dusk. Bring a picnic basket and relax with your family, friends and neighbors. Snack and Beverages will be available for sale... 2012 Ocean Air Summer Camp Program

Ocean Air Summer Camp Program BrochureIt's hard to believe that summer is on the way, but the new 2012 Summer Camp Program for the Ocean Air Recreation Center is already available!. And while the camps include the standard fare for a recreation center (gymnastics, dance, sports), there are also some different offerings, such as Kids Cooking and Fundamentals of Electronic Circuit Design! You can download the Brochure and check out all the camps that will be available at the Ocean Air location. Program registration begins Monday, June 4, 2012 at 5:00 pm. See the program for complete program and registration information. It appears the registration is walk-in only, with no current option for online registration. The Ocean Air Recreation Center is located at 4770 Fairport Way, south of SR-56.

2012 Spring Egg Hunts in the Local Parks

The two local City Recreation Centers will hold their Spring Egg Hunts on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. The Carmel Valley Egg Hunt will be at the Recreation Center, located at 3777 Townsgate Dr. (Egg Hunt Times: 0-2 years at 9:30am; 3-4 years at 9:45am; 5-6 years at 10:00am; 7-8 years at 10:15am; and 9 years & up at 10:30am). The Ocean Air Egg Hunt will be held at Torrey Hills Park, located at 4262 Calle Mejillones (Egg Hunt Times: 0-2 years at 9:30am; 3-5 years at 9:40am; 6-8 years at 9:50am; and 9 years & up at 10:00am). For both events, be sure to arrive on time and bring your own basket and camera!
